Betrayal is a story about a teenage girl named Eve Evergold and she is a Deepdene witch and its up to Eve and its up to Eve Evergold to protect her town from demons. Everything is going great for Eve, a new boyfriend, prom shopping and no demons in sight. Things have never been better for Eve Evergold. "But when things seem too good to be true, they usually are. An evil far greater than Eve3 has ever known is at work in Deepdene - and it's hell-bent on turning her closest friends against her."

Eve feels as if everyone's turning on her even her friends and her partner. She doesn't know what to do "this time, it looks like Eve is going to have to face her demons alone". Without the help of her friends and her boyfriend Eve feels more alone than ever before.

Betrayal is an interesting book because it's about a teenage girl who is a witch and she fights demons and her friends stand by her until a greater demon far more stronger than Eve has ever known is at work in Deepenene, her home town and is turning her closest friends against her. "Eve is going to have to face her demons alone". That's awesome but without her fiends, do you think she would be able to do it, fight demons alone?
