The 'American Dream' was the best thing 17 year old Hannah could have wished for. Her parents were killed in a café bombing, an now she was struggling to financially support herself and her grandmother who needed an urgent cataract operation. They are kept imprisoned by words and fear. They are America's modern-day slaves.
